However, their journey to secure another win in their final match against Mara Sugar next weekend promises to be an equally fierce challenge.

The match was a spectacle of skill and determination, with goals raining in from both sides.

Noah Ngiendo, Japheth Odokea, and a brace from Laban Otieno were the heroes of the day for Kisumu, while Kajiado's lone goal was netted by the spirited Jaffer Mwangi.

In another captivating match of the day, Luanda Villa displayed their dominance as they secured their fourth win of the season.

Brian Bett's first-half strike set the tone for the game, and second-half goals from Timothy Maasai, Moses Ngah, and Mike Isambwa sealed a convincing 4-0 victory over Mombasa Stars at the Mumboha Grounds.

This victory extended Villa's remarkable unbeaten streak to an astonishing 12 games, propelling them to fifth place on the league table with a total of 20 points.

Meanwhile, at the Ildamat Stadium in Kajiado, Mara Sugar missed a golden opportunity to narrow the gap on National Super League leaders Mathare United as they were held to a frustrating goalless draw by Rainbow FC.

The stadium was packed with eager fans, anticipating a thrilling football extravaganza, but they were left disappointed as the match failed to produce a single goal.

Turning attention to the Bomet IAAF Stadium, Silibwet Leons secured a hard-fought victory against Migori Youth, with a final score of 2-1.

In a separate encounter at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, Naivas maintained their solid position in second place on the league table by defeating Mulembe United with a convincing 3-0 victory.

Derrick Anami's impressive brace, marking his third successive game with goals, and a contribution from anchoring midfielder Vincent Odongo secured the win for Naivas. The result brought Mulembe United their fourth away defeat of the campaign.
