Jurgen Klopp's agent has addressed the swirling speculations about his Red Bull role and his move to Real Madrid or Brazil.

Rumours have been flying around about Jurgen Klopp’s global role at Red Bull, claiming that he is already exhausted.

It was further claimed that Jurgen Klopp is considering returning to a managerial role at Real Madrid or Brazil. Since he left his top job at Liverpool in the summer of 2022, Jurgen Klopp has not coached again, but the report claims that he is now ready to go back to his first love.

His links to Real Madrid might be realistic following the uncertainty around the future of Carlo Ancelotti after Los Blancos' thrashing in the quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League.

Real Madrid lost 3-0 to Arsenal in the first leg of the quarter-final before losing 2-1 in the second.

What is Jurgen Klopp’s current role?

The 57-year-old landed the Red Bull role as their Global Head of Football on a five-year deal. He began his role in January 2025.

Jurgen Klopp is said to be earning about €10-12 million annually, but despite earning such a bumper salary, it has been claimed that he is dissatisfied in his role and is considering a return to management.

Jurgen Klopp’s agent responds

Jurgen Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke has dismissed the rumours, revealing that the former Liverpool manager is enjoying his role at Red Bull.

The agent is aware of the rumours being spread and insists that Jurgen Klopp is not looking for any other role, either at Real Madrid or Brazil.

“I understand that there have been continued inquiries about Klopp from Europe's top clubs and some federations,” he said as quoted by the Daily Mail.

“However, he has no intention of taking over as head coach next season. Not even at Real Madrid or with the Brazilian national team.

“Jurgen is happy in his role as global director of Red Bull and has a current contract, so there's nothing more to say.”

Jurgen Klopp opens up about prospect of coaching again

In a previous interview, Jurgen Klopp did not downplay the possibility of returning to a managerial role, noting that it will always be a part of him.

“I don't know exactly why nobody believes I probably will not be a manager again. But I understand because obviously it seems to be a drug,” he said.

“It looks like that because everybody comes back and everyone works until they are 70-something. I always had the idea that I would not do that for that long.”

While rumours of a swift return to the dugout continue to swirl, Jurgen Klopp remains committed to his new chapter at Red Bull, for now. Whether the lure of the touchline eventually proves too strong is a story only time will tell.
