Italian model claims only 2% of Premier League footballers are faithful, having personally been involved with three players

An Italian model has made a stunning claim that a mere two percent of Premier League footballers remain loyal to their wives and girlfriends.

This assertion comes as she defends Manchester City's Kyle Walker amid his recent scandal involving a secret child while married to Annie Kilner.

Paola Saulino, who boasts an Instagram following of 233,000 and frequently shares provocative photos, stated her beliefs on fidelity within the footballing elite as reported by Daily Mail.

Having been in contact with numerous players and personally involved with three from England's top division, Saulino offers a unique perspective on the matter.

"First of all, I am not surprised by what Kyle did,' she said. 'I sincerely believe that betrayal is a very natural thing in life. What's wrong?" she remarked, amid the furor surrounding Walker, who has publicly apologized for his "idiot choices and idiot decisions" following his affair with influencer Lauryn Goodman.

Saulino's comments aim to shift the narrative, suggesting that infidelity among footballers should not be surprising.

"I have had three relationships in my life with guys from the Premier League who I later discovered were engaged or married," she disclosed to the Daily Star.

In her defense of Walker, Saulino portrays him as a rare case in a sea of deceit, highlighting his long-standing relationship with Kilner since childhood as both special and rare. Despite the criticism, she describes Walker as "caring and romantic," empathizing with his situation given the temptations faced by footballers.

"It's very easy to have two or three wives and children scattered around," she added, suggesting that Walker's loyalty, despite his mistakes, is commendable in a world where footballers are "spoiled and everything is done for them."

Walker's own reflections on his actions reveal a man grappling with guilt and responsibility.

In an emotional interview, he shared the immense pain his actions have caused to his family, particularly Kilner, who is expecting their fourth child.

"What I’ve done is horrible and I take full responsibility," Walker confessed, emphasizing his regret and the consequences of his decisions as per The Sun.

This revelation by Saulino ignites a broader conversation about fidelity, trust, and the lifestyle of professional athletes.

Her assertion that only 2% of Premier League footballers are faithful paints a bleak picture of the moral landscape within elite sports.

While some may view her claims with skepticism, they undeniably spark dialogue on the pressures, temptations, and expectations faced by those in the spotlight.

Critics argue that generalizing the behavior of all footballers based on the actions of a few is unfair and overlooks those who maintain healthy, committed relationships.
