Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has cooled speculation about a potential move to the Premier League by expressing his desire to "continue" with Galatasaray.

Despite interest from top clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United, Osimhen seems content with his current team.
What Osimhen said
Osimhen spoke about the love he's received from Galatasaray fans.
He said, “It's a great feeling. I will continue to make them proud. The team winning, me scoring. I want to continue as they know me. If I can inspire my teammates' children, that makes me very happy."

Osimhen has had a sensational season with Galatasaray, scoring 33 goals in all competitions and breaking his previous record of 31 goals set during the 2022/23 season with Napoli.
"It was important to break my record in my first season," he said, thanking his family, friends, and the technical team for their support.
He continued, "The team comes first for me... When I convert opportunities into goals, it makes me happy. The important thing is not Victor Osimhen, but the team."
The 26-year-old have now scored 33 goals for the Lions. 24 of those goals came in the Super Lig, seven in Europa League and three in the Turkiye Kupas.
