Gor Mahia have hired a sports ticketing firm to streamline the ticket sales process ahead of the Mahsemeji derby on Sunday.

In anticipation of the highly awaited Mashemeji derby between Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards, FKF Premier League champions K'Ogalo have teamed up with leading sports ticketing firm, Big Brother, to manage ticket sales and gate operations for the event.

Gor Mahia's decision to collaborate with Big Brother stems from the firm's proven track record in handling ticketing for major sporting events.

Big Brother has successfully managed ticket sales for high-profile matches involving the national teams, Harambee Stars and Harambee Starlets, as well as other professional tournaments and leagues, including rugby and various top-tier matches.

Alfred Rafimbi, the Director of Events and Ticketing at Big Brother, outlined the ticketing plan designed to ensure a seamless experience for fans attending the derby at Nyayo National Stadium.

“We have set designated areas for ticket sales at Kenya Cinema, Tom Mboya statue next to the National Archives, City Stadium, Riadha House, and Nyayo Stadium opposite the Police Post Gate. Tickets are priced at Ksh 1000 for VIP seats and Ksh 300 for regular seats,” Rafimbi stated.

Ticket sales will commence at 7:00 am and conclude in the afternoon, with gates closing at 2:30 pm. Big Brother has deployed ample personnel to ensure that all tickets are sold before the gates close.

To prevent any instances of forgery, the tickets are equipped with unique security features. By the time the gates close, Big Brother guarantees that ticket sales will be finalized.

Fans who are unable to attend the match in person can catch the action live on Azam Sport 3HD or via the Azam Max App on their mobile devices. Post-match highlights will be made available by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF).

For those who prefer radio coverage, the match will be aired live on Radio Taifa KBC, Mayienga FM, Ingo FM, Minto FM, Ngemi FM, KBC English Service, and Pwani FM.

Gor Mahia fans with VIP tickets are advised to use VIP Gate A, while those with regular tickets should enter through Gates 2 and 3. AFC Leopards fans aiming for the VIP stand should use VIP Gate B, with regular ticket holders using Gates 8 and 10.

Inside the stadium, Gor Mahia supporters will be seated on the right side from the VIP area, while AFC Leopards fans will occupy the left side.

With the collaboration between Gor Mahia and Big Brother, fans can expect a well-organized and efficient ticketing process for the Mashemeji derby.

As the excitement builds, all eyes will be on Nyayo National Stadium come Sunday 21 April, for what promises to be an unforgettable clash between these two Kenyan football giants.
