The tour marks a return to Kenyan soil for the trophy, having previously visited 13 years ago in 2012.

Back then, it was presented to the late President Mwai Kibaki at his Harambee House office in Nairobi.

This time, it is to be presented to President William Ruto on Friday, after which the rest of the tour will continue.

The trophy will be on public display Saturday afternoon at a venue yet to be announced.

Earlier that day, on Saturday morning, Schweinsteiger will engage with Kenyan football legends at an event organized by Heineken, Kenya Wine Agencies Limited, and the Football Kenya Federation.
