FKF Premier League champions Gor Mahia begin their campaign with a showdown against National Division Two Eastern Zone side KSG Ogopa in what is being dubbed the mini Sirkal derby reminiscent of the classic Gor Mahia vs Kenya Police rivalry.

KSG Ogopa has been impressive this season, currently leading Zone E with 17 points from nine matches, boasting five wins, two draws, and two losses.

They head into the clash following a goalless draw against Delmonte Gatuanyaga.

Gor Mahia, eager for a strong start after missing out on FKF Cup glory last season, recently played to a goalless draw against Bidco United in a midweek league fixture at Machakos Stadium.

They will be looking to assert their dominance and avoid an early upset.

Defending FKF Cup champions Kenya Police launch their title defense against National Division Two Central Zone side Superior Hotel.

Superior Hotel currently sits seventh in their Zone B standings with 18 points from 13 matches, having won five, drawn three, and lost five.

Kenya Police, currently leading the FKF Premier League standings, are in fine form and will be determined to maintain their supremacy in the competition.

Another high-profile fixture sees Nyanza Regional League side Dero FC take on FKF Cup record champions AFC Leopards in a mini Mashemeji Derby at Siaya's Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Stadium.

Dero FC will be looking to cause an upset on their home turf against an AFC Leopards side that struggled in their last league match, a goalless draw against Sofapaka.

Leopards will be eager to bounce back and extend their dominance in the FKF Cup.
