Atletico Madrid are prepared to compete with Napoli for his signature, with a report from Corriere dello Sport reporting that Atalanta are holding out for a €60 million fee for Ademola Lookman. The report further suggested that Atalanta are unwilling to budge on their valuation.
Last season, the forward made 31 Serie A appearances, scoring 15 goals and providing 5 assists and his contract with the Bergamo club runs until the summer of 2027. In 2024, Lookman was named African Footballer of the Year.

While Napoli are fond of Ademola Lookman, they have made the deliberate decision not to pursue a deal to sign the Nigerian international forward as a replacement for Kvicha Kvaratskhelia.
