Arsenal face a daunting challenge of overturning a deficit against PSG in Paris.

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has identified how the Gunners can overcome PSG in their UEFA Champions League return leg clash on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes.

The Gunners go into the fixture trailing the French champions 1-0 courtesy of an Ousmane Dembele strike at the Emirates during the first leg.

Mikel Arteta’s men have a mountain to climb, but it is not an impossible task.

Rice, who was the hero in Arsenal’s quarter-final clash against Real Madrid, has identified how the Gunners can overturn their deficit against the Parisians.

The England international believes the Gunners will need moments of magic, such as those against Real Madrid, to overcome the French champions.

"He (Mikel Arteta) always talks about having someone delivering a magic moment," Rice said, as quoted by BBC Sport.

"I think in that game against Madrid, obviously I was able to produce two free-kicks, which were incredible. But tomorrow night, a semi-final is set up for someone else to maybe get that magic moment.”

"Hopefully it's me again, but you're going to need a moment of magic to win a game, and as a team we're going to need that,” he added.

Rice scored a free-kick brace against Real Madrid that saw the Gunners take a 3-0 advantage to the Santiago Bernabeu, with Mikel Merino scoring the third.

In the Spanish capital, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli stole the spotlight with a strike each to overcome Los Blancos, who pulled one back through Vinicius Junior.

The Gunners will need their forwards firing on all cylinders if they are to turn the fixture around.

The likes of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, who started in the attack against the Parisians in the first leg, came close to bringing the Gunners on level terms.

Arteta’s men have already gotten the better of the Luis Enrique-coached side, claiming a 2-0 victory during the group stages as Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka got on the scoresheet.

While Havertz is not available, Saka has the opportunity to repeat those heroics and take Arsenal closer to their maiden UCL trophy.

The Arsenal star was marked out of the game in the first leg but has shown that he has what it takes to fire the Gunners ahead with his performance against Real Madrid.
