AC Milan and Atalanta meet in the Coppa Italia last eight, with Ademola Lookman and Samuel Chukwueze away with Nigeria on AFCON duty.

Italian club sides AC Milan and Atalanta BC are set for an all-Serie A clash in the Coppa Italia after victories in the round of 16.

Both teams will go head-to-head in the quarterfinal but without their Nigerian superstars Samuel Chukwueze and Ademola Lookman.

The Rossoneri secured a spot in the last eight after an impressive and commanding victory against Cagliari in the round of 16.

Luka Jovic was the star of the show after he netted a brace, with Chaka Traore adding another goal before Rafael Leao wrapped things up to give Milan a convincing 4-1 win and an easy passage.

For Atalanta, it was also a smooth sail following a comfortable 3-1 win against Sassuolo in their round of 16 tie.

Charles De Ketelaere stole the show at Bergamo, scoring a brace, with Aleksey Miranchuk completing the win.
