In a recap of the NBA playoffs, Jaylen Brown scores 40 points as the Celtics beat the Pacers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

In the first half, Jaylen Brown scored ten of his career playoff-high forty points, and the Boston Celtics pulled away from the Indiana Pacers to win 126-110 and grab a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference finals on Thursday night.

Brown assisted Boston in converting a five-point deficit in the first quarter into a 15-point lead in the second quarter after his 3-pointer with 5.7 seconds remaining in regulation forced overtime in Game 1.

During a six-minute stretch, Indiana missed nine consecutive shots and turned the ball over four times.

Brown scored 10 points in the run and 24 points at the half.

The top-seeded Celtics, who had lost Game 2 of their two previous semifinal series, were led in scoring by Derrick White and Jayson Tatum, who both finished with 23 points apiece while Jrue Holiday contributed 15 points and 10 assists.

Tyrese Haliburton, a talented guard for the Pacers, finished the third game of the series with eight assists and ten points before exiting due to a sore left leg. The series will now go to Indiana on Saturday.

Indiana's Pascal Siakam led with 28 points, while Andrew Nembhard chipped in with 16.
