Their YouTube channel, Tara and Hunter, has amassed more than 900,000 subscribers and offers an intimate look at their relationship, training routines, and behind-the-scenes moments as elite athletes.

"We took a pregnancy test. Thankfully not pregnant yet 😂😉," they wrote in the Instagram post that ignited a flurry of reactions across social media.

The couple, who produced golden performances at the 2024 Paris Paralympics and Olympics respectively, emphasized that they are not yet ready to take the leap into parenthood.

Tara won gold in the Women's Long Jump, while Hunter earned top honors in the Men's 400m T62 final, solidifying their positions at the peak of their athletic careers.

One user expressed concern in the comments, writing, "Never heard of a false positive apparently," to which Tara responded bluntly: "I'm bleeding."

As per SportsKeeda another commenter weighed in more emotionally, suggesting a deeper conversation between the couple might be needed: "Awwww. He’s clapping for a negative test but I feel like you would be okay with a happy accident... Maybe have a heart-to-heart talk and let him know how you feel."

Tara didn’t hold back in her reply. "You’re wrong. I was jumping for joy. You just didn’t get to see that part," she clarified.

Hunter also chimed in to shut down speculation and clear the air, explaining that while the couple does want children in the future, now is not the time.

"To clarify we do want to have a family. Just dont think we currently have the time and focus to give our kids what they deserve. One day tho ❤️" he commented.

Tara echoed this sentiment even more emphatically, writing, "YALL! I CANT AND DO NOT WANT A BABY RIGHT NOW! PUHHLEASEEEEE 😂"

The two first met at a track meet in Idaho when they were just 17 and reconnected in 2017.

Since then, their journey from teenage athletes to married Olympic stars has been well-documented online, further endearing them to their growing fanbase.
