Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce's unofficial return to track saw her and her son claim top podium finishes.

Jamaican sprint queen Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has marked her unofficial return to the track following a lengthy break.

The three-time Olympic gold medalist, who pulled out of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, hasn't raced since the Summer Games.

In a triumphant unofficial return, Fraser-Pryce and her son Zion both claimed top spot at the school's sports day.

In video footage shared by the decorated Olympian, Zion can be seen obliterating the competition before Fraser-Pryce also follows suit.

The Jamaican sprinter was emotional, hyping up the race as her first back while showering love on her boy champion.

"Race 1, I was too excited, yea," wrote Fraser-Pryce.

"My champion boy always, proud of my champion," she added.

Motherhood has been a revelation for the Jamaican sprint queen.

Fraser-Pryce and husband Jason Pryce welcomed Zion in 2017, on the back of her two-medal scoop at the 2016 Olympics.

She was ruled out of the 2017 World Athletics Championships but made a triumphant return in 2019 at the age of 32.

Fraser-Pryce made history by becoming the first mother and the oldest woman to win the 100m sprint.

The mother of one describes the journey of motherhood as a superpower that has continued to ignite a fire within her.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce Comeback or Growing Business Empire?

Fraser-Pryce will need that fire if she is to make another triumphant comeback to the track.

The sprinter is yet to start her 2025 campaign, having focused mostly on her business ventures.

The 2024 Paris Olympics marked a low point for the Jamaican, as she pulled out before the 100m semi-finals with an injury.

She missed the rest of the campaign and is yet to take to the track again officially.

It remains to be seen whether Fraser-Pryce will mount a comeback or focus on her growing business empire.
