Olympic champion Gabby Thomas recently shared a humorous yet relatable pet peeve that resonates with many in the track and field community.

When it comes to infuriating a track athlete, Thomas revealed her top contender is being asked, “When is your next game?” 

The Olympian chimed in on a post shared by the official X account of women-only track meet Athlos.

The post humorously listed common ways to irritate track athletes, warning readers to avoid them.

"Here’s a thread on the quickest way to make a track girl mad. Warning, please don’t try this at home. May result in embarrassment, irritation, or being ignored," read the post.

Thomas quoted the post with her own contribution prompting a humorous response from her fanbase.

Other ways listed in the thread included boasting about beating her in a race, or bringing up your 40-yard dash time, surefire way to end any conversation quickly.  

While Thomas is quick to share her lighter side, her track performances are no joke. The Olympian had an unforgettable season, winning gold in the 200m and aiding Team USA to victory in both the 100m and 400m relays at the Paris Olympics.

With the 2025 Tokyo World Athletics Championships also going down next year Thomas will undoubtedly be a key contender.
