Race director Barnaba Korir is bubbling with confidence as he confirmed that everything is on track. He urged more professional athletes to register early.

“Preparations are on track. We’re urging all athletes, especially the professional athletes, to finalise their registrations, especially the 21km and marathon, to avoid last-minute issues, but for the 10km expressway run, it is closed,” said Korir as quoted by Citizen Digital.

The marathon has attracted participants from 78 different countries, highlighting its growing status as a major international event.
