Olympics 200m champion Letsile Tebogo has claimed that he can outrun the fastest animal on the planet even though he is still not the fastest man alive.
Botswana sprint sensation Letsile Tebogo is no doubt one of the fastest humans on the planet given the medals he has won and records set in the course of his career.
Tebogo is the world 100m silver medalist, Olympics champion over 200m and the world record holder in 300m.
That has made him one the sprinters to beat at various competitions but can he really run faster than the fastest animal in the world? Well, he claims he can.

Can Tebogo Really Race against A Cheetah?
)
“It is possible but I believe I can outrun the cheetah,” Tebogo claimed in his response to the answer before the young ones prodded further where he gets his speed from.
“How are you so fast?” she asked, to which Tebogo answered: “Through training and putting in so much work in the gym, on the track and everywhere, that is how we become fast.”
It is a bold claim from Tebogo, whose 100m personal best is 9.86 seconds, 200m being 19.46 seconds while he holds the 300m world record of 30.69 seconds.
That pales in comparison to the speed of cheetah, with the world record for "fastest land animal" being held by a female cheetah named Sarah, living at the Cincinnati Zoo in Ohio, which ran 100m in 5.90 seconds, way faster than Usain Bolt’s world record of 9.58 seconds.
There were some personal questions like the sprinter’s preferred colour, which he singled out black, giving some interesting reasons.
