Omanyala then captioned the video: “Happy birthday coach @speedstarskenya.”

Meanwhile, the tactician reposted Omanyala’s video thanking Omanyala, his younger brother Isaac Omurwa, and another of their training mate Rodgers Ouma Odhiambo. He captioned the video saying: “Thanks guys…means a lot. God bless.”

Meanwhile, Omanyala joined Geoffrey Kimani earlier this year after ditching his former tactician, Duncan Ayiemba.

At the time of the change, Omanyala told Pulse Sports exclusively that he would only be working with Kimani and he extended a hand of gratitude to Ayiemba who has also played a vital role in his career.

He said: “I will be working only with Geoffrey Kimani. I really appreciate what Duncan has done over the years.”

The Commonwealth Games champion will be gearing up for a number of events this season with the Olympic Games in Paris, France being his major priority.

He has already started gearing up towards the same and he opened his season with a 400m race at the second Athletics Kenya Meet held at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.

Omanyala managed a fifth-place finish, clocking 49.06 to cross the finish line. At the moment, he is back to the grind, sharpening his talons in order to silence his opponents.
