'You think you have seen me run fast?' - Omanyala brags ahead of Kip Keino Classic
Africa's fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala has signaled a warning to his competitors ahead of the Kip Keino classic at the Kasarani stadium this weekend.
Omanyala, who has been in dominant form this season, recording fast times in all his meets, has promised to go faster than his windy 9.78s at the Botswana Grand Prix on April 29th.
Speaking in a promotional video ahead of the meet in his home country, Omanyala captioned his tweet: "You think you have seen me run fast??? "No, you haven't."
Then in the video, he talked about how he will break records and promised to give his home fans a show.
"...This day we are going to break records, and trust me when I tell you we're breaking records," said Omanyala
The focus now shifts to the biggest athletics event in Kenya this year. You think you have seen me run fast??? No you haven't. Come to Kasarani stadium this weekend, 13th of May and see what fast means. Entry is free!! #contientaltour2023 #budapest2023 #sub970… pic.twitter.com/izDyjd52eS

The Kenyan has the fastest all-conditions time in the world this year, with his time dropped in Botswana.
His Season's Best (SB) is 10.05s, but with his blazing form so far this year and running in front of his home fans, Omanyala is bound to drop that time by going sub-10s at the meet.
