Faith Kipyegon, Faith Cherotich and Emmanuel Wanyonyi added to Kenya’s gold medals. Faith Kipyegon also won a silver in the women’s 5000m as Beatrice Chebet won the gold. Dorcus Ewoi won the silver in the 1500m, as Edmund Serem and Reynold Cheruiyot claimed bronze medals.
