William Troost-Ekong to battle Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia: Super Eagles defender unveiled by Al-Kholood

The veteran center-back has finally ditched Europe for Saudi Arabia.
William Troost-Ekong unveiled by Al-Kholood
William Troost-Ekong, a defender for the Super Eagles, has successfully joined Al Kholood, a team in the Saudi Arabian Professional Football League.
Last season, Al Kholood received a promotion to the Saudi top flight.
Troost-Ekong, the club's sixth recruit of the season, comes from Greek Super League winners PAOK Thessaloniki.
The 30-year-old left English team Watford and played for one season in Greece.

Troost-Ekong was a PAOK player who won the league championship.
With an option to extend for a further year, he has now inked a two-year contract with Al Kholood.
Ekong was congratulated on the move to Al Kholood by Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa and Gift Orban.
Now in Saudi Arabia, Ekong will have to battle Nigerian internationals Odion Ighalo at Al Wehda, Henry Onyekuru and Anthony Nwakaeme at Al Fayha.
