'Why not play there?' — Paul Pogba breaks silence on next club as Juventus exit looms
Paul Pogba has finally spoken out about his future, responding to speculation over his next move.
The French midfielder is currently tied to Juventus until the summer of 2025 but there have been strong reports that both parties are willing to reach an agreement over contract termination.
As a result, several European clubs, including French Ligue 1 side Olympique de Marseille, have been linked to the 31-year-old.
Pogba breaks silence on next move
When questioned about a possible move to Marseille, Pogba didn't rule it out.
"Marseille? I'm laughing because it's Uncle Pat, he said that jokingly, you know him! I'm still under contract, so it's not credible," Pogba told L'Equipe.
"We don't know what tomorrow holds, why not play in Ligue 1?" he added, leaving the door open for a potential return to his homeland.
Regardless of his destination next year, there is no doubt he remains an exceptional talent.
