Despite initial setbacks in acquiring the rights, immense public pressure and ongoing negotiations with New World TV, the Togo-based pan-African broadcaster holding exclusive rights for Sub-Saharan territories, have paved the way for a potential agreement.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has reported a significant uptick in interest, with around 6000 media applications for accreditation, more than double the number from the previous tournament in Cameroon in 2022.
This surge is a testament to the event's escalating profile and the increasing financial investments by TV broadcasting rights holders from continents including Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, North America, and the Caribbean.
Patrice Motsepe, President of CAF, has expressed his delight at the extensive global broadcast agreements concluded with the TV-Broadcasting Rights Holders.
