We will do everything to beat Man City — Ten Hag assures

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, bullish after the victory against Fulham, has assured that the Red Devils will give all it takes to beat Manchester City in next week's FA Cup final.  

The neighbours will lock horns at Wembley Stadium next weekend for a chance to lift the oldest club cup competition in the world, and although Guardiola's side are favourites going in, the Dutch boss believes his team have what it takes. 

The Red Devils ended their league season on a positive note, beating Fulham 2-1 at home thanks to goals from Jadon Sancho and Bruno Fernandes. 

Following the victory, Ten Hag addressed a packed Old Trafford after their last game at the theatre of dreams for the season. 

The former Ajax manager, in an elated mood, thanked the fans for their support all season, saying he felt a strong bond with them the entire campaign.

He, however, pointed out that the season was not over, as there was still the business of a cup final.

The stakes of any cup final are high, especially one against their neighbours who are on course for a treble—a feat only the Red Devils have achieved in the Premier League. 

Ten Hag promised his players would raise their game in the final and give it all they had to finish the season with two trophies. 

Meanwhile, Everton reprised scenes from last season as they clinched Premier League survival in dramatic fashion after a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth.
