WATCH: ‘One More Year’ - Manchester United Fans Beg Outgoing Star as He Continues Outstanding Season
Manchester United supporters made their feelings clear following the team's 3-1 victory over Aston Villa, serenading star midfielder Casemiro with chants of "One more year" as his planned departure looms.
The Brazilian international, who has been in stellar form, announced in January that he would be leaving the club upon the expiration of his contract at the end of June. The 34-year-old is set to depart as a free agent, bringing a four-year chapter at Old Trafford to a close.
In a statement confirming his decision, Casemiro expressed his deep connection to the club. "I will carry Manchester United with me throughout my entire life," he said. "From the first day that I walked out at this beautiful stadium, I felt the passion of Old Trafford and the love that I now share with our supporters for this special club."

Despite the announcement, he assured fans of his commitment for the remainder of the season. "It is not time to say goodbye; there are many more memories to create during the next four months," he added. "We still have a lot to fight for together; my complete focus will, as always, remain on giving my everything to help our club to succeed.”
A Resurgence in Form
The fans' emotional plea was fueled by Casemiro's recent commanding displays, capped by another standout performance against Aston Villa. He found the net in the 53rd minute, expertly timing a run to the near post to head home a corner from Bruno Fernandes.
This farewell tour marks a remarkable turnaround for the midfielder, who endured a difficult second season after a solid debut campaign. Following a significant dip in form, Casemiro has resurrected his career at United this season, establishing himself as a crucial tactical piece under both Ruben Amorim and current interim manager Michael Carrick.
Beyond his renowned defensive skills, the Brazilian has become a surprising threat from set pieces, scoring an impressive seven Premier League goals so far this term.
United fans chanted, “One more year, one more year, Casemiro!” towards the Brazilian after Sunday’s win which left United in third place on the standings with 54 points, three more than fourth-placed Villa.
