Victor Osimhen: Premier League club reportedly considering sensational swap deal for Nigerian

Manchester United are reportedly exploring a sensational swap deal involving Marcus Rashford and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. 

In recent weeks, intense speculation has been focused on the forward’s future at Old Trafford, and this potential swap deal could offer a solution for both clubs. 

The Englishman publicly expressed his desire for a new challenge in December, leading to his omission from several matchday squads. 

While he has reportedly rejected lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, a move to Napoli could be on the cards.

According to The Sun, Napoli manager Antonio Conte is keen to work with Rashford and could offer him a fresh start in Serie A.

In exchange, the Italian outfit would reportedly send Osimhen to Old Trafford, cutting short his loan spell at Galatasaray. 

The Nigerian, who has been prolific for both Napoli and Galatasaray, scoring 76 goals in 133 games and 14 goals in 19 appearances respectively, has no future at the Italian club. 

Despite interest from Chelsea and Arsenal in the summer, a move failed to materialise, and he eventually joined the Turkish giants on loan.   

With Osimhen's permanent departure from Napoli seemingly inevitable, a swap deal with Rashford could benefit both clubs, as per the report. 

Manchester United would acquire a proven goalscorer, while Napoli would gain a world-class forward eager for a new challenge.
