Transfer News: Is one-time Chelsea star set for Bundesliga loan?

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell on loan. 

The left-back has been frozen out of the first team by manager Enzo Maresca and is yet to make a Premier League appearance this season.

Initially training away from the first team and only featuring once for Chelsea this season, in an EFL Cup tie against Barrow, questions about the left-back’s future have resurfaced in January.

According to the Sun, Dortmund are reportedly keen to bring in Chilwell as cover at left-back. 

BVB had previously been interested in signing Renato Veiga on loan from Stamford Bridge, but the Portuguese defender is now set to join Juventus.

Chilwell's lack of game time at Chelsea has led to speculation about his future, and a move to the Bundesliga could provide him with the opportunity to get his career back on track.
