Transfer News: Al Hilal keen on Lookman's Atalanta teammate after Fernandes snub
Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal are rumoured to have initiated talks with the representatives of midfielder Ederson.
The Brazilian, also a previous Manchester United target, is said to be Al-Za'eem’s alternative after Bruno Fernandes chose to stay at Old Trafford.
According to Fabrizio Romano, representatives of the Saudi outfit have contacted the Atalanta midfielder’s camp.
Apart from Ederson, Al Hilal are reportedly also interested in Inter boss Simone Inzaghi, and the former Lazio head coach’s decision could influence the Atalanta player's choice.

Premier League interest persists
The Brazilian midfielder has been a subject of transfer speculation, with suggestions he could depart the Gewiss Stadium during the summer window.
As per Football Italia, Manchester United reportedly made an attempt to sign Ederson last summer, but their substantial bid was declined.
The Red Devils remain interested in the 25-year-old, who made 49 appearances across all competitions in the 2024-25 season, scoring five goals and providing two assists.
His consistent performances for Atalanta led to his senior debut for the Brazil national team in June 2024.
Ederson initially joined Atalanta on a permanent transfer from Salernitana in 2022 for a fee of €22.9 million.
What’s next for Atalanta?
Atalanta finished last season third, guaranteeing Champions League participation in 2025-26.
However, Gian Piero Gasperini departed at the end of the season.
