Tinubu and Morotoluwa Ojomo: Nigerian President welcomes Philadelphia Eagles Superbowl winner
Nigerian-American defensive tackle Morotoluwa Ojomo continues to celebrate winning his first Super Bowl after the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40–22 in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.
Last month Ojomo showcased his most recent accomplishment on his Instagram account.
Ojomo and President Tinubu
Ojomo is now in the country and has been able to meet Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The official social media handles of the Presidency showcased the meeting with Tinubu.
The post had several pictures of Ojomo and his family members at the Presidential villa Aso Rock.
Along with the photos was a message that said, "President Bola Tinubu received in audience Morotoluwa Ojomo, Super Bowl Champion with Philadelphia Eagles, led by Chairman Nigerians in Diaspora (NIDCOM) Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa in the State House today, 28th February 2025."
This comes after Governor Sanwo-Olu celebrated Ojomo after the Lagos-born Talent Super Bowl victory with the Philadelphia Eagles.
He acknowledged Ojomo's roots in Lagos State Nigeria before moving abroad.
Ojomo took to social media to celebrate the meeting, He said, "Grateful to be celebrated and welcomed by the President of my home country after winning the Super Bowl.
"Had a great conversation regarding the future of American football in Nigeria. Thank you for the time President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, His Excellency
Ojomo identifies with his Nigerian roots despite leaving the country years ago.
