Thompson and Umukoro breeze to sprint titles at NJCAA Championships

Miracle Thompson breezed to the 100m Hurdles title with a new Personal Best (PB) of 13.31s (-0.7), lowering her previous best of 13.33s set in the qualifying heat.

Ese Awusa was also in the same race finishing fifth in 13.95s.

Likewise, Success Umukoro won the 100m title in 11.37s (1.1), far ahead of Diandrenique Gaines in 11.53s and Tijuanique Morton in 11.56s.

Umukoro almost won a double title but was denied by just 0.003 after clocking an identical time of 23.28s (1.8).
