Team USA in Tokyo: Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone trains looking sharp and ready ahead of 400m title campaign at the World Championships
Olympic 400mH champion Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone was spotted in Team USA's training camp looking sharp and ready for her first-ever 400m race at the World Championships.
The American hurdling queen, who will be running the 400m flat instead of her trademark event, qualified for the Tokyo 2025 World Championships after winning the US trials, and her personal best of 48.74s is the second-fastest in American history.

Having dominated the women's 400mH and stayed undefeated since 2022, setting multiple world records in her name, the two-time Olympic gold medallist will be gunning to win her first world 400m title in Tokyo.
However, she will face faster and more experienced competitors in Olympic champion Marileidy Paulino and 2019 world champion Salwa Eid Naser.
McLaughlin-Levrone is the third-fastest in the world this season (48.90s) behind Naser (48.67s) and Paulino (48.81s).
