The painting of the terraces has already begun, looking to transform the stadium from a construction site into a world-class facility.

The ongoing paintwork on the three-tier seating structure is designed to do more than satisfy the eye. The colour palette chosen for the terraces reflects the national pride inherent in the stadium's design, which already features eight massive shields inspired by the Kenyan flag on its exterior.

This will ensure that the stadium maintains a high-energy atmosphere during broadcasts, even if the stands are not yet at full capacity.

This visual technique, often used in modern European arenas, creates a full-house effect that enhances the psychological experience for both players on the pitch and viewers at home.

The crews are utilising specialised, high-grade weather-resistant coatings formulated to withstand Nairobi’s intense ultraviolet exposure and seasonal heavy rains.

Beyond the aesthetic layers, the work includes the precise application of safety demarcations, aisle numbering, and emergency route highlights, ensuring the stadium meets the strict safety and accessibility standards set by FIFA and CAF.

Meanwhile, the steep, intimate bowl design ensures that every seat, now being finalised with both paint and the installation of thousands of individual chairs, offers an unobstructed view of the action.

Once the final coat is dry and the "GrassMaster" hybrid surface is laid, Talanta Sports City will stand ready to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
