Super Eagles hopeful Boniface joins Rashford, Dybala in Europa league TOTS

Nigeria's Victor Boniface has been named in this season's Europa League team of the season, for his exploits in the competition, representing Union Saint-Gilloise. 

The 21-year-old striker is the joint top-scorer in the competition, along with Manchester United's Marcus Rashford (6), and takes the central striker spot in the team.

Boniface earned his spot, leading USG to a quarter-final finish with his goals, one of which was the stunner against Union Berlin that won him the goal of the week award.  

Marcus Rashford starts on the left-wing, while Dybala, who made the final with AS Roma, takes the right-wing spot. 

Three other Roma players made the 11, Pellegrini, Nemanja Matic and Chris Smalling, while four from the champions, Sevilla, made it, Jesus Navas, Marcus Acuna, Yacine Bonou and Ivan Rakitic. 

Sevilla's captain and right-back Jesus Navas has been awarded the Europa League Player of the Season for his performance leading the Rojiblancos to their seventh title. 

Meanwhile, Victor Boniface has been nominated for the prestigious Belgian Pro League Player of the Year Award.

The Union Saint Gilloise striker has been impressive this season, which earned him a nomination ticket for the best footballer in the Belgian league.

The 22-year-old will have to compete with his club captain, Teddy Teuma, who also had a decent season with Union SG.
