Son confirms Spurs stay amid Saudi Arabia interest
Tottenham forward Heung Min Son has stated he is uninterested in a move to Saudi Arabia as he has unfinished business in the Premier League.
The 30-year-old South Korea international was linked with a move to the Gulf following recent interest from Saudi Arabian clubs in top European talents.
Tottenham were reported earlier to be unwilling to part ways with the 2021/22 Premier League Golden Boot winner. The player has also come out to rule out a move to the Saudi Arabia Professional League.
What Son said
The former Bayer Leverkusen man was asked about his future today, and he confirmed he will remain at Tottenham.
He said he has more things he wants to achieve in the Premier League and that the promise of affluence that comes with a move to the Saudi League does not entice him at this stage in his career.
“I have many things to do in PL. Money doesn't matter to me now, and the pride of playing football, to play in my favourite league is important. I want to play more for Tottenham.” He said, per Fabrizio Romano.
