‘School is important’ - Fan blast Osimhen after allegedly punching Journalist in Istanbul

Following allegations that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen punched a journalist during a late-night incident in Istanbul, a fan has expressed his disappointment and concern.

The alleged incident, as reported by Posta Newspaper, involved Osimhen and a group of reporters attempting to take his picture outside an entertainment venue.

Journalist Tolga Bozduman claims that the former African player of the year reacted violently, punching him in the head after flashes went off.

“I filmed Osimhen at the door with three of my colleagues. When the flashes went off, all hell broke loose. He ran towards me, screaming. He tried to take my camera away from me, but I didn’t let him.

"The punch he threw hit me in the head. My right side still hurts. He then started swearing. Then he offered, ‘Destroy the footage, I’ll give you money.’ When I refused, he threatened me by saying, ‘I’ll destroy you, Bozduman said.

After the incident, social media has been flooded with reactions, with a fan using the phrase "School is important" to express his disappointment and concern over Osimhen's actions.

The 26-year-old has scored 15 goals and provided six assists in 19 appearances across all competitions.
