Saudi Arabia target top Premier League referees as they look to continue spending spree
Top Premier League referees could be tempted away to Saudi Arabia next season according to reports.

The Saudi Pro League spent hundreds of millions in the just concluded transfer window luring top players and coaches to the Middle East.

However, their next target is the best referees in the Premier League and in Europe.
According to the DailyMail, referees from the Premier League and throughout Europe's top divisions are being sounded out for a potential move to Saudi Arabia as the next step in the development of their league.

The Saudi league is believed to be ready to pay significantly higher wages, greater than the average annual wage for Premier League referees which is currently between £120,000 and £300,000.
