Ruben Amorim: Frustrated Man Utd boss smashed TV in dressing room after setback

Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has reportedly caused damage to a television in the dressing room following the team's 3-1 defeat to Brighton.

According to the Athletic, the Portuguese coach is said to have reacted angrily to the performance, expressing his frustration in a furious outburst.

Amorim's reaction is unusual as he typically prefers to remain silent after matches and conduct analysis the following day. 

However, his outburst after the Brighton game suggests his growing frustration with the team's poor results.

Per the report, the incident has drawn comparisons to Sir Alex Ferguson's infamous "hairdryer treatment" of players when he was dissatisfied with their performances.

Despite the outburst, Manchester United executives are reportedly continuing to support Amorim, and are actively pursuing players in the transfer market to suit his system after opening talks for Lecce wing-back Patrick Dorgu.

The Red Devils next face Rangers on Thursday in Europa League action.
