Revealed: Details of AC Milan’s ₦53.6bn offer for Victor Boniface

AC Milan’s pursuit of a new striker has taken a decisive turn, with the Rossoneri closing in on Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface.

Reports from Italy confirm that Milan have tabled a structured offer worth around €30m (₦53.6bn), designed to fit their financial strategy while addressing their need for a reliable centre-forward.

Unlike their previous targets such as Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic and Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund, both of whom demanded expensive permanent deals, Milan have crafted a more flexible arrangement for Boniface.

The Nigerian forward is being lined up on a paid loan with an option to buy, which could later become an obligation if certain conditions are met.

This structure ensures that Milan can strengthen their attack without overcommitting financially, while also securing priority over one of Europe’s most promising strikers.

Boniface, still just 24, joined Bayer Leverkusen from Union Saint-Gilloise in 2023 for €22.6m and quickly made his mark in Germany.

Despite suffering injury setbacks, he still managed 11 goals and two assists across 27 appearances last season, impressing once again with his instinctive finishing and physical presence in the box.

For Milan, his profile fits perfectly with their search for a striker who can lead the line and adapt to Serie A football.

Leverkusen, meanwhile, appear willing to negotiate given the financial upside and the player’s long-term value.
