Report: Man Utd eye #92bn Osimhen and Gyokeres alternative

Manchester United are reportedly considering Fiorentina striker Moise Kean as an alternative target if they miss out on Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres.

Kean, who enjoyed his best season with 25 goals across all competitions, has a tempting £44.5 million release clause, Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

The news claims that the clause is only active for a brief period between July 1 and 15.

United's initial aim for a striker was Liam Delap, but their failure to qualify for the Champions League led to him joining Chelsea instead. 

Gyokeres is now high on Ruben Amorim’s shortlist and is open to joining despite the lack of Champions League football; however, the Sporting forward reportedly favours a move to Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta’s troops are actively pursuing both Benjamin Sesko and Gyokeres, intending to sign only one of them, meaning that the Red Devils’ striker plans could remain uncertain until Arsenal finalise their choice. 

According to reports, United's move for Kean would depend on definitively missing out on Gyokeres first.
