Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni addressed the media following his team's 2-1 victory over Barcelona in El Clásico, praising his side's performance.

"We did what we had to do today, performed at a high level, and followed our game plan. We deserved the win," the Frenchman stated.

He continued, "It's true that we struggled against Atlético, but today we had another chance to prove ourselves, and we did it to perfection. The entire team played really well. We need to keep it up in the following games."

When asked about the pre-match comments from Barcelona's Lamine Yamal, Tchouaméni welcomed the competitive spirit.

"I like that. At the end of the match, we saw a little bit of tension between the players, but we help each other compete," he explained.

He added, "When I was little, I saw these things in games against Barcelona and stayed calm. I like it; they're only words, and there's no bad intention. It gave us a little more determination."

"I kind of like it. If Lamine wants to talk, there's no problem. The match is played on the field, and we won. We're very happy with our game and are now looking ahead," he concluded.
