Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has returned to full training following a hamstring injury, the club has announced.

Onana suffered an injury during Manchester United's preseason preparations, with reports suggesting that he will miss the start of the season.

He was scheduled to be out injured for six to eight weeks due to a hamstring injury, but it seems he has recovered early enough to start training.

The 29-year-old Cameroonian could be in contention for the Premier League season opener against Arsenal on August 17th, according to reports from Sportal.

Onana rejoined full squad training sessions with the other goalkeepers, having previously been limited to non-contact drills during the club's Asian tour.
Last season, Onana conceded 65 goals in 50 appearances for Manchester United, keeping 11 clean sheets.
