Pep Guardiola continues war of words with Chelsea’s Cole Palmer

Manchester City's Pep Guardiola aimed a cheeky dig at Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer, who left the Cityzens to join the Blues after the youngster revealed a tough conversation he was forced to have with the Spanish gaffer.

Guardiola made the comments, referencing Palmer, following an incredible winning goal scored by another Manchester City academy graduate, Oscar Bobb, in the Cityzen's remarkable win over Newcastle. 

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has expressed high confidence in Oscar Bobb, a young talent who recently showcased his skills by scoring a crucial goal in a Premier League match against Newcastle.

Speaking after Manchester City’s match against Newcastle, Guardiola said, "Bobb can play in five positions! City have another player for many years if Oscar decides to stay.

“Now he’s happy for those minutes, but also Cole Palmer was happy here, then he told us: ‘I want more!’. It’s natural, understandable.”
