Eniola, competing in the women's singles, continued her winning streak by defeating Australia's Celine Aurelie Vinot 2-0. She had earlier defeated India's Kaur Mandeep.

In the men's singles, Nnanna also advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating Indonesia's Fredy Setiawan 2-0. He had previously defeated Germany's Marcel Adam in his opening match.

The team's 23-athlete contingent to the Paris 2024 Games will be aiming to build on the success achieved at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, where they won 10 medals.
Since its Paralympic debut in 1992, Nigeria has amassed a total of 80 medals, with 40 of them being gold.

The vibrant Nigerian delegation, sporting colourful attire, marched proudly through the iconic Champs-Elysees and Place de la Concorde.
Nigeria will be competing in four Paralympic sports this year, Para-Athletics, Para-Badminton, Para-Powerlifting, and Para-Table Tennis.
