On the move? Leicester reject latest offer from Turkish giants for Wilfred Ndidi
Leicester City have reportedly turned down a €7 million offer from Turkish side Besiktas for their Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
Ndidi has caught the eye of several clubs looking for a bargain in the transfer market, especially as he was a standout player in a poor Leicester City team last season.
His contract reportedly includes a clause that drops his release fee to €9 million following relegation, fueling speculation about his future.
Ndidi to Turkey?
According to Turkish outlet Takvim, Clubs like Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, Juventus, Besiktas, Fenerbahce, and even teams from the Saudi Pro League have been linked with the 28-year-old, but no firm moves have materialized.
The Super Eagles midfielder has grown into one of the most capable defensive midfielders during his time at the King Power, and will undoubtedly improve several clubs.
Meanwhile, Ndidi has been a key figure in Leicester’s pre-season preparations, featuring regularly as they gear up for their Championship campaign.
