After Celtic’s win over Inverness on Saturday, Postecoglou said: “People around me have all worked hard to enjoy this moment, so that’s what I’m going to do.
“I will enjoy it for as long as I can before people drag me away to talk about other things."
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy said in a statement:
“Ange brings a positive mentality and a fast, attacking style of play. He has a strong track record of developing players and an understanding of the importance of the link from the academy – everything that is important to our club.
"We are very excited to have Ange join us as we prepare for the season ahead.”
Big picture for Spurs
Tottenham have experienced several setbacks in their search for a successor to Antonio Conte who left the club in March but have finally landed their man and will now focus their attention on the future of key player and record goalscorer Harry Kane.
