Now or never! Premier League giants hold crunch talks to sign Victor Osimhen

Chelsea are reportedly planning critical talks with Victor Osimhen’s representatives this week, aiming to find an agreement to bring the striker to Stamford Bridge.

The Nigerian star, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, is expected to leave Naples on a permanent deal this summer. Despite Chelsea's firm interest, reports indicate that Osimhen’s wage expectations are the primary obstacle to a move to Stamford Bridge.

Both Osimhen and Chelsea are eager to make the transfer happen, but his salary demands are reportedly too high for the Blues or any other Premier League club.

The report claims Chelsea are now exploring creative ways to structure a deal that fits their wage framework, though Osimhen is unlikely to reduce his expectations without performance-based incentives included in the contract.

If no agreement is reached, Chelsea have lined up Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins and Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap as fallback options.

Osimhen has been in scintillating form at Galatasaray, racking up 33 goals and eight assists in 38 appearances across all competitions this season.
