Not my problem — Man Utd star refuses to support teammates amid transfer speculation
Amad Diallo offered candid responses when questioned about the futures of Manchester United teammates Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford following a lackluster 0-0 pre-season draw against Leeds United.
In the mixed zone after playing the first half, the Ivorian winger addressed Rashford’s rumored move to Barcelona, saying,
“The only thing I can say is good luck to him, but I’m more focused on United and my team.”
On Garnacho’s situation, Diallo was equally detached, stating, “I think this is not really my problem. The only thing I’m thinking right now is how we will learn together as a team.” United’s pre-season continues with a match against West Ham in New Jersey next Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are expected to announce the signing of forward Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford imminently. Amorim will add the Cameroonian to Matheus Cunha, who arrived from Wolves at the start of the transfer window.
United are reportedly still keen on adding a new midfielder and goalkeeper.
