Tough Start for Falconets
The Falconets have a challenging start to the tournament, with their first two games taking place at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo in Bogota.
Their first match against the fast-paced Koreans will be followed by a clash with three-time champions Germany.
Head Coach Confident
Head Coach Chris Danjuma is focused on tactics and ensuring his team is prepared for the Koreans.
"We are working on our tactics and techniques, in order to get it right when we play the Koreans. That is the first and foremost assignment. Once we get it right against the Koreans, we will then set out for the Germans.
"I am very happy that we have no case of injury in camp. The girls are all ready to go out there and do Nigeria proud," he said.
On Saturday, FIFA Match Director Abeer Rantisi presented the certificate of participation to Nigeria, received by captain Oluchi Ohaegbulam.
Falconets Possible Starting Lineup
Ohaegbulam is expected to lead the midfield, while Faith Omilana is favored in goal. Comfort Folorunsho, Shukurat Oladipo, Rofiat Imuran, and Jumoke Alani are likely to form the defencee.
The midfield could see Aminat Omowunmi Bello, Yina Adoo, Chioma Olise, and Olushola Shobowale alongside Ohaegbulam. Up front, the attack might consist of Janet Akekoromowei, Opeyemi Ajakaye, Flourish Sabastine, or Chiamaka Okwuchukwu.
The Falconets are determined to start strong and showcase their skills on the world stage.
