The Super Falcons of Nigeria are set to take on the Copper Queens of Zambia in a quarterfinal Clash as the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) progresses into its knockout phase.

The highly anticipated quarterfinal between Nigeria and Zambia pitting two of Africa’s footballing powerhouses against each other.

The Super Falcons are Africa’s most successful women’s national team with a record nine WAFCON titles.

They enter the quarterfinals as favorites after showing dominance in their group stage games.

Nigeria started with a commanding 3-0 win against Tunisia, followed by a 1-0 victory over Botswana.

They then wrapped up with a 0-0 draw against Algeria to top Group B with 7 points.

The Copper Queens finished second in Group A with 7 points and now face their biggest test.

Star forward Barbra Banda will be the focal point of their attack, supported by a midfield maestro Grace Chanda.
