Nicolas Jackson’s move to Bournemouth falls through after failed medical
Nicolas Jackson’s move from Villareal to Bournemouth has fallen through following a failed medical.
The 21-year-old Senegalese forward was set to trade home grounds from La Ceramica to the Vitality Stadium after both clubs agreed to a transfer worth €25.5 million, pending a medical. The player did not pass the medical and has now returned to Villarreal.

Jackson, a member of the Senegalese contingent at the World Cup, has seen his proposed move to Bournemouth fall through following a failed medical.
The young forward hurt his hamstring a few weeks ago and was set to return on February 10th. However, upon evaluation by Bournemouth’s doctors at his transfer-scheduled medicals, it was discovered that he would be unable to return until at least March 10, one month later than the previous schedule, leading the deal to fall through per Fabrizio Romano.

It remains to be seen if Bournemouth will revisit the deal in the summer, as Jackson is a player they have kept their eye on, and were clearly interested in.
