Ndidi on the bench as Beşiktaş edges St. Patrick's in Conference League Play-Off
Beşiktaş JK secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over St. Patrick's Athletic in the UEFA Conference League play-off match at Tüpraş Stadyumu, Istanbul.
Besiktas had a 4-1 win in the first leg and a 7-3 aggregate triumph to move closer to the group stages.

Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, a recent high-profile signing, watched the action unfold from the bench.
He unable to make his debut despite being presented to the passionate Beşiktaş faithful.
Ndidi was recently unveiled as a Beşiktaş player and stated he wants to make history with the club.
The 28-year-old, who joined from Leicester City in the summer transfer window, participated in training ahead of the clash.

Demir Tiknaz pulled one back for the hosts in the 43rd minute cutting the deficit.
The second half saw Tammy Abraham level the score in the 49th minute before Joao Mario’s stunning strike in the 79th minute put Beşiktaş ahead.
They held on for the 3-2 win, securing the 7-3 aggregate victory.
Ndidi’s absence from the starting lineup under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was expected.
He expected to make his debut when the team faces Eyüpspor in a league game this weekend.
